On Sept 4th, the 11th Chinese Forestry Youth Annual Conference was held in Northwest A&F University and nearly a thousand personnels including young scientific workers from institutions and teaching units, forestry production and management organizations, representatives of those who won Liang Xi Youth Paper Award and Liang Xi Outstanding Student Award, as well as A&F teachers and students from College of Forestry, attended the conference. The annual conference last for 2 days with 8 parallel sessions in which 243 reports themed at the development of Chinese forestry and the construction of beautiful China.

The 11th annual conference was jointly held by Chinese Forestry Society and Northwest A&F University, undertaken by Youth Working Committee of Chinese Forestry Society, A&F College of Forestry and Shaanxi Forestry Society. Peng Youdong, a party member of State Forestry Administration as well as director of Science and Technology Division, and A&F University secretary of party committee Liang Gui, delivered speeches on the opening ceremony,  with A&F University managing vice president Zhao Zhong, an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering as well as A&F researcher Shan Lun, the vice chairman and secretary-general of Chinese Forestry Society Chen Xingliang, the chairman of Shaanxi Forestry Society as well as deputy director of Shaanxi Forestry Department Yin Long etc being present.
　　
Results of the 5th Liang Xi Youth Paper Award and the 4th Liang Xi Outstanding Student Award were announced in the conference, with 236 papers winning awards, among which 12 papers were first prize, 52 second prize, and 172 third, besides, 39 youth students from 26 colleges throughout the country got Liang Xi Outstanding Student Award. Young scientific workers awarded were honored in the conference.
