On August 29th, A&F president Sun Qixin met and held cordial and friendly discussion with delegation from National Chiayi University led by Chiayi vice president Shen Zaimu in VIP room of International Exchange Center.

President Sun Qixin expressed his warm welcome to the delegation and introduced briefings about A&F University. Sun said his visit to Taiwan , National Chung Hsing and National Chiayi University with Shaanxi Agricultural Technology expert panel in May 2011 left him a deep expression, especially in the inheritage of traditional Chinese cultural and the development of higher education in Taiwan universities. The exchange between A&F and Taiwan students had successfully been conducted since 2007 and had become a platform for exchange between the two sides. This year, two A&F students will go to Chiayi University for a semester, which open the prelude to the exchange program. Sun hoped that the two sides could continue to expand exchange scope, strengthen academic exchange and research cooperation and hoped that President Li Mingren could visit A&F at his convenience. Besides, President Sun Qixin introduced related conditions of Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Fair and International Agricultural Hi-tech Forum.
