On the afternoon of November 1st, Liu Yandong, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee as well as a State Councilor Visited A&F inspected the A&F, accompanied by Wan Gang, Vice-Chairman of CPPCC & Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology, Chen Xi, Vice-Minister of Ministry of Education, Jiang Xiaojuan, Vice-Director of Research Office of The State Council, Yuan Chunqing, Governor of Shaanxi province, Wang Xia, Vice-Secretary of CPC Shaanxi provincial committee, Zhu Jingzhi, Vice-Governor of Shaanxi province, as well as Zhang Guangqiang, Secretary of Party Committee of the A&F, and President Sun Wuxue of the A&F. The delegation successively inspected the Consultation System of Agriculture Science and Technology Service, Sci-Tech Extension Station, and Biotechnology Platform of A&F, and they also met with experts and professors.

State Councilor Liu Yandong spoke highly of the achievements the A&F had obtained especially after the amalgamation. She said" It is exciting and inspiring that the A&F runs so well and has achieved so much in such an arid and semi-arid region, and the A&F will definitely be promising in the future".
