The college has a state key discipline --soil science, a level I discipline of utilization of agricultural resources authorized to confer doctoral degree and a postdoctoral research station in utilization of agricultural resources. And the college now has 9 Ph.D. programs, namely the soil science, the plant nutrition, the soil&water conservation and desertification combating, the ecology, the agricultural environment protection and food safety, the land resources and space information technology, the environmental science, the fertilizer science and the resources and environmental biology, 11 master programs, namely the plant nutrition, the soil science, the soil & water conservation and desertification combating, the ecology, the environmental science, the environmental engineering, the agricultural environment protection and food safety, the land resources and space information technology, the cartography and geological information systems, the fertilizer science and the resources and environmental biology, and 5 undergraduate programs, namely the resources and environmental science, urban and rural planning & resource management, the soil & water conservation and combating desertification, the environmental science, the geological information system (GIS).
